We welcome your company or organization to participate in the inaugural Hot Rides Cornfest which will be held on August 27th and August 28th at the Laird International Raceway, in Laird Township.
The Hot Rides Cornfest is a fun packed weekend with fireworks on Saturday and Sunday nights. The festival will also showcase classic cars from all over Ontario and Michigan, feature heart-pounding country music entertainment, action packed stock car races, laser tag, craft vendors, transport truck light parade, on site camping, lots of great food and mouth watering delicious St. Joe Island sweet corn.
The weekend music line-up is an impressive one with chart topping country artists such as Lonestar, Corb Lund, Jimmy Rankin, Ray Lyell and the Storm and the Good Brothers as well as a host of popular local county bands.
The Hot Rides Cornfest promises to be the most spectacular event of the year and we want to offer your company or organization an opportunity to get involved.
The automotive restoration hobbyist is an excellent audience for your organization. Our goal is to attract some 4,500+ visitors and 350+ event vehicles.
Most of the people attending the festival will be from Sault Ste. Marie and the surrounding townships; however, we do expect to attract a large contingent from other Northern Ontario communities as well as Northern Michigan.
A regional marketing campaign has been developed and is in place to attract classic cars and spectators and stock car race enthusiasts from all over Northern Ontario and Northern Michigan.
